CUNA Mutual Group has named Randy S. Fuss as a Practice Management Consultant. In this position he will provide support, coach and mentor financial advisors looking to take their practices to the next level and has 25 years of successful and diverse experiences in the financial services industry to tap into.
Fuss will also lend his expertise in providing technical support on the CUNA Mutual Guaranteed Account Contract (GAC) to the sales and marketing team at CPI Qualified Plan Consultants, Inc. (CPI). CPI is a member of CUNA Mutual Group. Fuss will also be available to provide support to financial advisors including the GAC in their clients’ qualified defined contribution retirement plans.
Randy spent time early in his career as a financial advisor with a major wirehouse and bank but also as recently as 2006 he owned and operated Fuss Financial Group. The bulk of his career has been spent consulting to advisors and helping them identify the tools they need to be successful. He is knowledgeable on the specific issues facing advisors today and has helped thousands of advisors implement strategies to grow their practices and meet their client’s financial needs.
Randy received his bachelor of science degree from University of California, Davis in 1986, majoring in managerial economics. He also has the following NASD Licenses: 7 (general securities representative), 24 (registered principal), 63 (uniform securities agent), and 65 (investment advisor representative) as well as Life/Disability/Variable and Long Term Care Insurance Licenses in the state of California. Randy carries professional designations as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (ChMFC®). He also is certified to deliver to financial advisors Continuing Education and DISC®.
Fuss lives in the heart of northern California wine country with his wife, Linda and two children. He carries his coaching passion through his involvement in youth sports and also enjoys outdoor activities such as running, mountain biking, skiing and hiking.
