Connie Schlochtermeier, RN, was honored with an Distinguished Service Award at the Kansas Hospital Association State Conference on Nov. 11. Connie is a nurse educator and director for the Association for Continuing Education (ACE) in Great Bend. She is a member of the Kansas Healthcare Education Council (KaHEC) and was chosen by a committee of her peers to receive the award given annually for her service to the council as well as many healthcare facilities across the state. She has been dedicated to the KaHEC group by serving as a district secretary and by presenting several programs to the district and the state group.
