Fort Larned USD 495 Superintendent Bryce Wachs was recently awarded his Doctorate of Educational Leadership and thus became Dr. Bryce Wachs. Wachs earned his doctorate over a two-year period of study from Southwestern College in Winfield. He graduated on May 10, earning his Doctorate with online classes that also required two one-week summer residencies on the campus of Southwestern College. Wachs successfully defended his dissertation on Intentional Communication and Leadership Stability: Board President’s Experiences with Superintendent Partnerships on June 5, to earn the title of Dr. Wachs. He has been Superintendent of Fort Larned USD 495 schools since July of 2018.
