The first wave of Mary Kay Chemo Care packages were delivered to the staff at the Great Bend Heartland Cancer Center this week by Mary Kay Sr. Sales Director Jil Johnson. The staff will pass out over 40 gifts that were sponsored by various businesses and individuals’ right here in Great Bend. “Together with the Individual Beauty Consultants in my Unit, we have set a goal to bless at least 200 people receiving treatments in the Central Kansas region with our Mary Kay Chemo Care packages. Our hope is that these Chemo Care packages will not only help with dry skin but will bring a smile to the patients who receive them.” said Johnson. “As of this week we are half way to our goal with 100 Chemo Care packages being delivered across the area.” Johnson would like to thank all the local businesses that helped make Great Bend deliveries possible.
