Wharton, Horton, Holl join Sunflower Electric

Sunflower Electric Power Corporation announced the following new employees.
On Oct. 12, Cody Horton joined the company as a line technician apprentice in Harper and Lloyd Holl joined the company as a line technician apprentice in Great Bend. Horton and Holl will assist with inspection and repairs of transmission lines and substation sites under the direct supervision of a journey or higher level line technician.  
Mathew Wharton joined the company on Oct. 19 as a relay technician apprentice in Great Bend. Wharton will perform the work associated with and including, but not limited to, the installation, testing, inspection, calibration, and repair of all system protection devices, transducers, and equipment (electro-mechanical and electronic relays, protective controls, switchboards, and other substation equipment) as related to Sunflower Electric Power Corporation’s and its members’ electric transmission and distribution system.
