Two new positive COVID-19 cases were identified Sunday in Barton County, according to County Public Information Officer Donna Zimmerman. The cases involved two females who reside in Hoisington.
Seven more were reported Tuesday morning. These involved three males and four females; two reside in Great Bend, four in Hoisington and one in rural Barton County.
Three more were reported Tuesday evening, one male and two females. Two of them reside in Hoisington and one resides in rural Barton County.
To date, there have been 126 positive cases – 58 males and 68 females – and 31 of those cases are active. The county has issued 1,129 quarantine or isolation orders and 240 of those are active. Three deaths have been attributed to COVID-19.
