To the Editor:

I encourage you to vote for John Sturn for Kansas Senate District 33 on Aug. 6. He has shown he will work for rural Kansans and support our schools, hospitals, and churches.

We have all gotten several slick flyers in the mail from his opponent. You only have to look as far as where those mailers are coming from and who is paying for them to understand where her priorities are. Organizations from Topeka, Sedgwick County, and Johnson County do not have our best interests in mind and she is now indebted to them and their interests. She has had many opportunities to vote for support of rural schools and hospitals and every time, she follows the lead of the eastern Kansas lobbyists and legislators at the expense of her rural Kansas constituents.

John Sturn has and will have the best interests of rural Kansas and District 33 and will provide a strong voice for us in Topeka.

Vote John Sturn on August 6.
