The 50th and 51st positive cases of COVID-19 were reported in Barton County Wednesday afternoon. These involve one male and one female from the City of Great Bend, County Public Information Officer Donna Zimmerman said. 

Of the 51 cases, the number of active cases stands at 12. There has still been only one death attributed to the virus.

There have also been 503 quarantine/isolation orders issued. Of those, 78 are still active.

• Claflin - 3

• Ellinwood - 6

• Great Bend - 37

• Rural Great Bend - 4

• Rural northeast corner of county - 1
