Barton County’s total number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 1,407, Barton County Public Information Officer Donna Zimmerman reported at 5 p.m. Thursday. This is an increase of 104 cases since the county’s last report at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17.
To date, there have been 5,459 quarantine or isolation orders issued and 776 of those are active. Of the 1,407 cases, 327 are active. There have been 13 deaths.
The new cases represent 44 males and 60 females. Five reside in Claflin, seven in Ellinwood, 65 in Great Bend, seven in Hoisington, three in Pawnee Rock and 17 in rural Barton County.
