Barton County Health Director Karen Winkelman told the county commissioners on Tuesday that the county has not received the 400 doses of COVID-19 vaccine from the state for this week as anticipated, due to the cold weather. A drive-through clinic planned for Wednesday, Feb. 17, has been canceled.

She and County Administrator Phil Hathcock both said there was an outside chance that the situation could change, however.
