Dennis and Dorothy Chegwidden of Lewisville, Texas, will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Aug. 29, with their family.
Dorothy Cryan and Dennis Chegwidden were united in marriage on Aug. 29, 1965, at the First United Methodist Church in Great Bend. Dennis is a professional artist and a retired college and public school teacher. Dorothy is a retired college and AP English teacher. They have two children, Lincoln Chegwidden and wife Dawn, of Flower Mound, Texas and Stephanie Chegwidden of Lewisville, Texas; two grandchildren, Agnes Chegwidden and Mikaela Todorovac and husband Sanjin; and a great-grandchild, Devin Todorovac.
