Alvin and Vera Muth of Great Bend will celebrate their 60th anniversary on Aug. 10 with a family dinner and card shower. A vacation is scheduled for a later date.
Vera Korte and Alvin Muth were united in marriage on Aug. 8, 1954, at the Methodist Church in Kinsley. The couple has three children, Denise (Muth) Appel and husband Richard of Rush Center, Darren Muth and wife Ruth of Longmont, Colo.; and the late Dianna Muth; eight grandchildren; and eight step-grandchildren.
