Betty (Robbins) Sloan of Great Bend will celebrate her 90th birthday on May 13, with a card shower.
Betty was born on May 13, 1925, in Lewis where she graduated from high school in 1943. In 1944, she married Merle Sloan. In 1985, she retired from the Lewis Post Office. Her children and their spouses are Loretta and Roger Leith of Wichita, Larry and Mary Sloan of Albert and Lorena Sloan and Marlin Portenier of Great Bend. She has four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
