Earl Burroughs of Aurora, Colo. will celebrate his 80th birthday with a surprise Open house from 2 to 4 p.m. on May 25 at the Front Door in Great Bend. Hosts for the event will be his daughter, Anita Burroughs, granddaughter, Erica St. James and grandson Andrew St. James, all of Aurora, Colo. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
Earl was born on Feb. 9, 1933 in Lyons. A resident of Great Bend prior to moving to Aurora, Colo., he was employed by Sears for over 20 years before retiring. He also designed and built BURR-O Campers. He has a daughter, Anita Burroughs; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
