The family of Georgia Bauer of Pawnee Rock wishes to honor her on her 85th birthday with a card shower.
Georgiann June Folkerts, fourth child of Harm and Mabel (Simmons) Folkerts, was born June 11, 1933, at the family farmstead northwest of Larned. She married Roy Bauer, Jr., June 11, 1951 in Seward. Roy passed in 2009. They were blessed with five children: daughters, Terry Bauer of Pawnee Rock; Mary and husband, Kevin Holle, of Herndon; and Laurie and husband, Richard Josefiak, of Rozel; two sons, Mike Bauer and wife, Susan, and Bret Bauer and wife, Terri, both of Pawnee Rock; 15 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren with one on the way.
