Gary Hinson and Pat Hinson will celebrate their 80th birthdays with card showers.
Gary was born on Oct. 27, 1937, in Concordia. Pat was born on Nov. 7, 1937, in Cloud County. Gary is retired from Rainbo Bread Company. Pat is retired as a self-employed hair dresser in Great Bend. They have three children, Greg (Alina) HInson, Tony (Michelle) Hinson and Tammy Hinson, all of Great Bend; five grandchildren, Samantha HInson, of Topeka, Natalie McAnulla of Denver, Colo., Tyler (Jess) Hinson of Bluffton, S.C., Janell (Matt) Simmons of Topeka and Blake Hinson of Hays; two great-grandchildren, Judd of Denver, Colo. and Kendall Simmons of Topeka.
