Leona Bartonek will celebrate her 90th birthday on Aug. 21 with a card shower.
She was born Leona Lichter. On May 29, 1944, she married Vernon Bartonek. He passed away in 2008. They lived in the Great Bend and Olmitz area. She has one son, Alan (Linda) Bartonek; two grandchildren, Dan Bartonek and Lynae (Greg) Curtis; four great-grandchildren, Derrick
Bartonek, Krystle Bartonek, Brenna Thompson, and Blake Thompson; and one great-great-granddaughter, Aleha Bartonek.
