Martin Arthur Morgenstern will celebrate his 100th birthday with a come and go reception from 2 to 4 p.m.  on September 6, at the Great Bend Senior Center. If unable to attend, he would enjoy receiving cards from friends and acquaintances.   
Martin was born at his home in Russell County. He lived north of Galatia until he married Wilma Moore December 25, 1938 in Otis.  The couple established residency in Hoisington up until the tornado of 2001. After losing their home, the Morgenstern’s moved to Great Bend where they finished enjoying their 72 years of marriage until Wilma’s passing in October of 2011.
