Neta Johnson will celebrate her 100th birthday on Jan. 31 with a card shower.
Neta was born on Jan. 31, 1914 in Churdan, Iowa. In 1951, she moved to Hays with her husband, the late James B. Johnson. In 2003, she moved to Hoisington. Her children are: Ann and Lon Palmer of Hoisington and Judy Johnson and Gunter Hofmann of Lincoln, Neb. She has two grandchildren, Adam Palmer of Hutchinson and Elizabeth Rohrer of Hermosa Beach, Calif.; and five great-grandchildren.
