Patricia (Pat) Thorson will celebrate her 90th birthday with an Open House from 1 to 3 p.m. on Feb. 26 at Grove Park Club in Ellinwood. Hosts for the event will be her five children, Patty (Rick) Kirkpatrick, Jim Thorson and John Thorson all of Ellinwood, Greg Thorson of Great Bend, and Jeff (Dori) Thorson of Omaha, Neb. She has four grandchildren, Andy (Jen) Kirkpatrick of Ellinwood, Ashley (Derek) Ohl of Manhattan, and TJ LaRocca and Lindsey (AJ) Campbell, all of Omaha, Neb.; and two great-grandchildren Madison Kirkpatrick of Ellinwood, and Oliver Campbell of Omaha, Neb.
Pat was born on Feb. 28, 1922 in Great Bend. On Nov. 30, 1952 she married Clarence Thorson. Clarence passed away on June 1, 1994.
