Phyllis Maneth of Great Bend will celebrate her 90th birthday on July 26, with a card shower and a family gathering hosted by her children. Born in Ellinwood on July 26, 1925, the daughter of Ben and Dorothy Krampe, she has been a long-time resident of Great Bend. She was married for 50 years to Fred C. Maneth who died in 1998. Her children are, Cheryl Yunk (Dan) of Manhattan, Ron Maneth of Great Bend, Carla Wynn Griffin (Kenneth) of The Woodlands, Texas, Kent (Debbie) Maneth of Gilbert, Ariz., and the late Richard Maneth. She has six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
