Ruth Axman will celebrate her 80th birthday on Nov. 20 with a family dinner. Ruth grew up in Rush County, graduated from Bison High School and attended Barton County College. She was employed by Walmart, Eldercare and DCCA. She has seven daughters, Kathy and Verlyn Rossman of Albert, Karen and Bill Norris of St. John, Melanie and John Zeller of McCracken, Amy and Tim Frieb of Olmitz, Shelly and Curtis Robinson of Great Bend, Lisa Gander of Valley Center, and Hope and Bob Ney of Hoisington; 16 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
