USD 355 has been informed that the HVAC Bond Project at Ellinwood Middle/High School will immediately impact the east wing of the building, including the Library, Central Office, and the corridor connecting those areas. To prepare for construction, the District will be closing both the Library and Central Office and those areas will remain closed until further notice.

To continue serving the community, the Library has temporarily relocated to the Ellinwood Grade School Library. During this time, the Library will be open to the public Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon. The Summer Library Program will be held Tuesday through Thursday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. The Library will be closed on Fridays.

Due to the temporary relocation, some library services will be limited. Fax services and public computer access will not be available; however, black-and-white copying services will continue to be offered. For information regarding the availability of specific services, please contact Amy Hammeke at ahammeke@usd355.org, Heather Dombroski at hdombroski@usd355.org, or call 620-564-2306.

Patrons should use the west glass door entrance at the Grade School to access the Library.

Parking is available in any parallel parking space in the area, including those marked as yellow zones.

USD 355 appreciates the patience and understanding of our patrons and stakeholders during this construction project. Updates and additional information will be shared as they become available.
