Ray and Kathy Basgall of LaCrosse announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayla, to Tim Stansbury, son of Ginny Stansbury of Smith Center and the late Rick Stansbury.
The bride-elect is a graduate of LaCrosse High School. She graduated from Emporia State University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. She is employed by the Kansas Attorney General’s Office in Topeka as a Consumer Specialist.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Smith Center High School. He graduated from North Central Kansas Technical College with an associate’s degree in Electronics. He is employed by Qwest Communications of Topeka as a field technician.
The wedding is planned for May 14 in Topeka.
