Brian and Melissa Bitter of Hoisington announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Renee Bitter, to Michael Ermon Richards, son of Randy and Carla Richards of Hoisington.
The bride-elect is a 2011 graduate of Hoisington High School. In 2015 she graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Industry. She received her Master of Occupational Therapy from Rockhurst University in 2017.
The prospective groom is a 2010 graduate of Hoisington High School. In 2015 he graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He is currently employed by the Blue Valley School District and teaches at Oxford Middle School in Overland Park.
The wedding is planned for July at Concordia Lutheran Church in Hoisington.
