Rob and Kelly Bowman of Great Bend announce the engagement of their daughter Brittany Ann Bowman to John Paul Sandstrom, son of Jeff and Jane Sandstrom of Marysville.
The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Barton Community College with an Associates of Science degree. In 2011 she graduated from Emporia State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She is employed by Lyon County State Bank in Emporia.
The prospective groom is a 2008 graduate of Cloud County Community College with an Associates of Science degree. In 2011 he graduated from Emporia State University with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. He is employed as a real estate agent for Farm and Home Properties of Emporia.
The wedding is planned for Sept. 5, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Emporia.
