Brent and Linda Haberman, of Great Bend, announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Haberman, to Ryan Guthrie, son of Bill and Lois Guthrie of Neponset, Ill. and Jenise Brennan of Moreno Valley, Calif.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Great Bend High School. She graduated from Barton Community College in 2003 with an Associate in Science degree and in 2005 from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She is employed as a Workforce Management IE Specialist at UPS Supply Chain Solutions in Overland Park.
The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of Kewanee High School. He attended the University of Northern Iowa and Kansas State University. He is employed as a Sales Manager-West Region at Cadon Technical Sales of Cottleville, Mo.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 8 at the Church of the Ascension in Overland Park.
