Ross and Barb Fulton of Larned and Tony Hallman of Lee’s Summit, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Shara Gayle Hallman, to Michael John Stettinger, son of John and Sherry Settinger of Great Bend.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Larned High School. She graduated in May 2010 from Fort Hays State University with a bachelor of science degree in Health and Human Performance. She is employed by A Healthy Choice Clinic and Scraps, both in Larned.

The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Great Bend High School. He graduated in December 2008 from Fort Hays State University with a bachelor of science degree in Elementary Education. He is employed by Unified School District 428 as a teacher.

The wedding is planned for Sept. 11 at Faith community Church in Great Bend.
