Mark R. and Jana K. Hestand of Great Bend announce the engagement of their daughter Maycie Rachelle Hestand to Genesis Lee Rose, son of Marvin and Kathy Rose of Great Bend and Rich and Virginia Immediato of Lyons.
The bride-elect is a 2015 graduate of Great Bend High School. She is attending the University of Kansas studying Human Biology with an emphasis in Psychology. She is employed by the University of Kansas in the Math Department.
The prospective groom is a 2013 graduate of Great Bend High School. He graduated from Barton Community College in 2015 and is attending Fort Hays State University studying Criminal Justice. He is employed as a Laborer 1 at PBI Gordon in Kansas City.
The wedding is planned for Nov. 18, 2017, at First Christian Church in Bonner Springs.
