Doug and Karen Hickel of Claflin announce the engagement of their daughter, Corinna Jo Hickel, to Adam Michael Demel, son of Mike and Sandy Demel of Hoisington.
The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Claflin High School. In 2012 she graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She is employed as a first grade teacher at USD #431 in Hoisington.
The prospective groom is a 2008 graduate of Hoisington High School. In 2012 he graduated from Kansas State University with a  Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness. He is self-employed in farming.
The wedding is planned for July 26 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Claflin.
