Greg and Chris Hobbs of Hays, announce the engagement of their daughter, Summer Hobbs to Dylan Demel, son of Mark and Barbara Demel of Hoisington. Grandparents of the couple are Lawrence and Louise Younger, Esther Boxberger, the late Earl Hobbs, the late Shirley Hobbs, the late Frederick Boxberger, and the late Frank and Mary Demel.
The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Hays High School. In 2013, she graduated from Fort Hays State University. She is a registered nurse at the McPherson Hospital.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2008 graduate of Hoisington High School. He attended Fort Hays State University following high school and later attended Pratt Community College for line school. He is an apprentice lineman for BPU in McPherson.
The wedding is planned for March 19, at the Methodist Church in Hays.
