Kathi Hoffman of Great Bend announces the engagement of her daughter Heather Dawn Hoffman to Daniel Joseph Quillin son of Mike and Candice Quillin. The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Curtis Hoffman. Her grandparents are Bob and Vera Henning of Great Bend and LeRoy Hoffman of Mt. Vernon, Mo. and the late Nancy Hoffman. Grandparents of the prospective groom are Alvin Rohr of Cunningham, the late Sylvia Rohr, and the late Keith and Jean Quillin.
The bride-elect earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2008 and her masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2010. She is employed as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Sunflower Early Education Center in Great Bend.
The prospective groom is a 2011 graduate of Emporia State University with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. In 2014 he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Wichita State University. He is employed as a physical therapist at Via Christi Therapy Center on Shannon Woods in Wichita.
The wedding is planned for May 9, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend.
