David and Patricia Kuhns of Denver, Colo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Kuhns, to Christopher Robl, son of Craig and Paula Robl of Ellinwood and Larry and Waynette Stroda of Lawrence. Grandparents of the prospective groom are Roy and Rosemary Robl of Ellinwood.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Cherry Creek High School in Greenwood Village, Colo. In 2009, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and is soon to complete a Masters of Early Childhood Development, both from the University of Colorado. She will begin her career as an educator for at-risk learners.
The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Ellinwood High School. In 2008, he graduated with a Bachelor of Education in Sport Science from the University of Kansas and in 2011, graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University. He is employed as a Physical Therapist and part-owner of Peak Physical Therapy in Highlands Ranch, Colo.
The wedding is planned for August 2014 at Dunafon Castle in Idledale, Colo.
