Keith Lear of Gladstone, Mo. and Karla Croswhite of Keaney, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter Erin Lear to Brian Koochel, son of Michael and Lois Koochel of Great Bend.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Kearney High School in Kearney, Mo. She graduated from Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo. with a bachelor of science degree in Criminal Justice. She is employed by Heartland Center for Behavior Change in Kansas City, Mo. as a Case Manager.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Great Bend High School. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor of science degree in Atmospheric Science. He is employed by Weather Or Not, Inc. in Shawnee as a Weather Center Manager.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 18, at St. Therese Catholic Church in Kansas City, Mo.
