David and Theresa Leiker of Great Bend announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Leiker to Richard Jarvis, son of Wayne and Susan Jarvis of Baldwin City.
The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Great Bend High School. In 2008, she graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Biology. She will graduate in May 2013 at the University of Kansas with a Doctorate of Medicine. In July, she start her Family Medicine Residency at Via Christi Family Medicine Residency Program in Wichita.
The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Baldwin High School. In 2008, he graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of General Studies in Geography with an emphasis in Geographic Information Systems. He is a junior GIS developer at Bartlett West in Topeka.
The wedding is planned for April 27 at Circle S. Ranch in Lawrence.
