Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Lichter and Ms. Pam Lichter, all of Great Bend, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Jo Lichter, to Brent Daniel Hynek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hynek of Barnes.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Great Bend High School. She attended Fort Hays State University and Salina Area Vo-Tech. She graduated from Colby Community College in 2009 with an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene. She is employed by Jill Gray D.D.S.  in Marysville as a registered dental hygienist.
The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of Hanover High School. He attended Benedictine College and Kansas State University. He graduated from Salina Area Vo-Tech in 2004 as a diesel mechanic. He is a self-employed farmer.
The wedding is planned for Nov. 6 at St. John Catholic Church in Hanover.
