Mark and Sheila Helm and Chris Linenberger, all of Great Bend, announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Ann Linenberger, to Jordan Philip Shorter, son of Marvin Shorter of Holyrood and Tamra Nelson of Chapman.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Great Bend High School. She graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Diagnostic Imaging. She is employed by Benefit Management, Inc. in Great Bend.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Chapman High School. He attended Kansas State University. He is self-employed.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 30 in Great Bend.
