Mr. C. Laroy and Mrs. Chari Manry of Manhattan announce the engagement of their daughter Christi Manry of Great Bend to Jacob W. Abel of Great Bend, son of the late Mr. Duane E. Abel and the late Mrs. Patricia A. Abel. The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Mrs. Carol Manry.
The bride-elect graduated from Great Bend High School and Barton Community College with an Associates Degree in Business Management. She is employed by CUNA Mutual Retirement Solutions in Great Bend as a Document Specialist.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School in Perry. He graduated from Kaw Area Technical School in Topeka with a degree in Drafting and Design. He is employed as a delivery driver in the Great Bend area.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 18, at the bride and groom’s residence.
