Curtis and Martha Michalewicz of Abilene, Texas announce the engagement of their daughter Kristin Michalewicz to Cody Crowther, son of Alan and Lori Crowther of Great Bend.
The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Wylie High School in Abilene, Texas, In 2012, she graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition. In 2012, she graduated from Texas Women’s University with a Masters in Science in Nutrition. She is employed as an Associate Director of Child Nutrition at Southwest Food Service Excellence.
The prospective groom is a 2007 graduate of Great Bend High School. In 2011, he graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Golf Course Management. He is employed as an Assistant Golf Superintendent at Dallas National Golf Club in Dallas, Texas.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 15, at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Abilene, Texas.
