Mike and Debbie Niedens of Great Bend announce the engagement of their daughter, Cassandra (Cassie) Niedens to Brenton Dupuis, son of Brian and Sabra Dupuis of Larned. Grandparents of the couple are Fern Niedens of Great Bend, Beverly Prescott of Larned, Frank and LoraLee Dupuis of Saginaw, Mich., and L.D. and Cheryl Niedens of Garden City.
The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of Great Bend High School. She is employed at Central Kansas Family Practice as a certified medical coder.  The prospective groom is a 2008 graduate of Larned High School. He is employed as a foreman for Eakin Enterprises.  
The wedding is planned for April 30, at Larned United Methodist Church.
