Kirk and Kim O’Donnell of Manhattan announce the engagement of their daughter Marie O’Donnell of Derby to Brandon Perkins of Salina, son of Eugene and Myrna Perkins of Great Bend.
The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Manhattan Senior High School. In 2010, she graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She is employed as a kindergarten teacher at St. Mary Parish School in Derby.
The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Great Bend High School. In 2010, he graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration/management information systems. He is employed as a PC systems specialist at Great Plains Manufacturing in Salina.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 11 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Manhattan.
