Steven and Brenda Ohnmacht announce the engagement of their daughter Kristin L. Ohnmacht to Wade L. Babcock, son of Norma Babock of Haysville and the late Gregory Babcock.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Great Bend High School. In 2005 she graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree and in 2009 from Saint Louis University with a Masters degree in Medical Science, Physician Assistant. She is employed as a physician assistant at St. Rose Health Center in Great Bend.
The prospective groom is a 1993 graduate of Campus High School in Haysville. In 1994 he graduated from Community College of the Air Force with an Associates degree of Science in Medical Lab Technology, in 1995 from Butler County Community College with an Associates degree of Science and in 1998 from Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and Physician Assistant Studies. He is employed by Orthopedics at Central Kansas Orthopedics in Great Bend as a physicians assistant.
A double wedding ceremony with Kristen’s sister Allison is planned for Oct. 1, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend.
