Kenton and Anita Sanko of Great Bend announce the engagement of their daughter, Annie Jean Sanko, to Michael Patrick Tolbert, son of David and Carole Tolbert of Overland Park.  Grandparents of the bride-elect are Virgil and Vinita Gatton of Stafford and Rosemary Sanko of Great Bend and the late Floyd Sanko. Grandparents of the prospective groom are James and Judy Tolbert of Farmington, N.Y., the late Patricia Tolbert, and the late Irving and Ruth Dutton.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Great Bend High School. In 2008, she graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences and Psychology. In 2010, she graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. She is employed as a Member Services Specialist in the Healthe Clinic at Cerner Corporation in Kansas City, Mo.
The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Blue Valley West High School in Overland Park. In 2009, he graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. He is employed as an Internet Sales Manager and Leasing Consultant at McCarthy Nissan in Olathe.  
The wedding is planned for May 4, at the Powell Gardens Chapel in Kingsville, Mo.
