Kriss and Lisa Schroeder of Colby announce the engagement of their daughter Chelsy Schroeder to Kyle LeRoy, son of Mark and Lea Ann LeRoy of Great Bend. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dan and Janet Schroeder of Colby, and Conrad and Betty Ann Kough of Scott City. The prospective groom is the grandson of Mary LeRoy of Great Bend and the late Louis LeRoy and JoAnn Simpson of Great Bend and the late Lee Simpson.
The bride-elect is a 2013 graduate of Colby High School. In 2015 she graduated from Colby Community College Physical Therapist Assistant program. She is employed as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Central Kansas Orthopedic Group in Great Bend and Great Bend Regional Hospital.
The prospective groom is a 2009 graduate of Great Bend High School. In 2014 he graduated from Fort Hays State University with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education. He is currently working on his Master’s degree in mathematics. He is employed at Larned High School as a math teacher and baseball coach.
The wedding is planned for Nov. 19, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Colby.
