Brogan Don Unruh of Great Bend announces the engagement of his Mom and Dad, Nicole Schwager and Shawn (Odie) Unruh. Parents of the couple are Rick and Kathy Schwager of Great Bend, LeAnna Unruh and Jack Johnson of Pawnee Rock and George and Kim Unruh of St. John. Grandparents of the bride-elect are Larry and Carol Horton of Great Bend and the late George and Luella Schwager. Grandparents of the prospective groom are Don and Carol Ellis of Belgrade, Mont. and the late Dean and Nancy Unruh.
The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Great Bend High School. She is employed with Central Kansas Family Practice of Great Bend.
The prospective groom is a 2007 graduate of Macksville. He is employed with Kansas Fishing Tool of Great Bend.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 20.
