Doug and Elaine Simmons of Great Bend announce the engagement of their daughter Elizabeth Ann Simmons to Caleb Bennett Alexander, son of Michael and Tammy Alexander and Linda Jarrott, all of Wichita.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Great Bend High School and Wichita State University, where she earned her degree in Print Journalism and Strategic Communication. She is employed as a Content Marketing Strategist at Columbia College in Columbia, Mo., volunteers her time as the social media manager for Columbia Entertainment Company, and is an adviser for Delta Gamma Fraternity.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Andale High School, Wichita State University and the University of Missouri where he earned a master’s degree in Jazz Performance and Pedagogy in May 2017. He is employed as a production assistant for Lindervox Sound, teaches guitar lessons and plays lead guitar in the Americana band Austin Jones and the Bootheel Boys.
The wedding is planned for Sept. 2 in Great Bend.
