Tim Welch and Jean Garner announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Marie Welch, to Ryan Wade Doll, son of Clayton and Cheri Doll. The bride-elect attended Barton Community College where she majored in journalism. She is employed as a loan processor at Farmers Bank and Trust in Great Bend.
The prospective groom attended Fort Hays State University and the University of Kansas. He is employed as a welder at Mid America Feeders in Great Bend.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 12 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ellinwood.
