Ray and Donna Zimmerman of Great Bend announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Dawn Zimmerman, to Larry Dennis Winegarner II, son of Linda Winegarner of Wichita. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Maxine Heueisen of Great Bend and the late Charles Heueisen, and Erma Zimmerman of Great Bend and the late Percy Zimmerman. The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Thomas and Lena Vogt.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Great Bend High School. She attended Barton Community College and is currently attending Butler County Community College. She is employed by InfoSync Services of Wichita as an accounts payable specialist.
The prospective groom is 1994 graduate of Wichita Southeast High School. He attended Wichita State University. He is employed by Cessna of Wichita as a sheet metal mechanic.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 27 at Faith Christian Church in Wichita.
