This is a nationwide effort to recognize the efforts of those who serve Friendship Meals to seniors. This program is offered in the month of March and public officials are invited to participate. The Great Bend-based Eldercare is the local sponsoring, agency for the meals, covering 28 southwest Kansas counties.
