Trinity Lutheran Church would like to welcome Pastor Jay and Diana Welshonse to its church family. Trinity Lutheran will host Pastor Jay’s installation service on July 16 during the 10:30 a.m. worship service through LCMC with the Reverend Doyle Karst presiding over the service.

All of the Great Bend community is invited to come out and support Pastor Jay and Trinity on this new journey. If unable to attend on July 16, stop in and meet Pastor Jay during his weekly office hours, 9 a.m. to noon, Monday through Thursday.

Pastor Jay Welshonse served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and worked in the private sector in Information Technology and Systems Security prior to attending Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN. He served a three-point parish in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for the last seven years prior to his arrival at Trinity.

Pastor Jay and his wife Diana have been together for just short of the four-decade mark and have five daughters who live in Idaho, Nebraska and New York, and 17 grandchildren.
